As an ER Nurse at CRMC , you'll be the crucial first point of contact for the people in our community during health emergencies, playing a vital role in their immediate care and recovery. Every day in emergency nursing brings a unique set of challenges. You're a multitasker who can react quickly, prioritizing patients based on their medical necessity while providing emergency triage to others. As part of our ER team, you'll partner with an experienced clinical team to deliver stabilizing care to our patients, performing tasks such as IV starts, foley catheter insertions, or aiding providers with chest tube insertions. To excel as an ER nurse, you should embody teamwork, professionalism, and critical thinking skills. Your willingness to take on additional projects, such as patient experience initiatives, is highly valued. Above all, your energy and motivation to provide quality care to all of our patients, maintaining their dignity at every step, is what sets you apart. **Responsibilities:** + Use emergency triage protocol to intake, discharge or admit patients. + Deliver stabilizing care to emergency patients of all ages as part of the larger ER team, adapting care to changes in patient's condition as needed. + Use knowledge of cultural differences to provide patient care that is sensitive to and consistent with cultural values, beliefs, and customs. Document the nursing care plan and changes in the patient's condition. **Qualifications** **Minimum:** + Current AZ State RN license in good standing + American Heart Association Certifications + Current BLS card + ACLS card within 9 months of hire + PALS or ENPC within 12 months of hire **Preferred:** One (1) year emergency experience **Overview** **Hello Humankindness ( Chandler, Arizona , has a stable suburban population with an economy anchored by many large financial, and high tech companies.
