ABOUT THIS POSITION:

As an Ecommerce Product Photographer, you will play an important role in delivering eye-catching, captivating photos for clients of BAD Marketing. You will be responsible for bringing the client's vision to life through your photography.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contribute to the planning and preparation phase by conducting research, finding inspiration from similar brands or niches, creating storyboards and shot lists, and gathering necessary assets.
  • Must be able to operate and utilize our office equipment for shooting content. We have a podcast room, lifestyle set and cyc wall room at your disposal. You will also have access to our lineup of Sony cameras, Aputure lights, DJI microphones, etc.
  • Must be able to coordinate with team members to schedule and execute content shoots, videos, posting schedules efficiently. Staying on top of Google Calendar, ClickUp and Slack are crucial.
  • Must be able to take constructive criticism. Art is subjective and we all have different styles. This is what sets us apart from the competition - we work together to make sure each final product is perfect. You must be able to work closely with leadership in order to align content with our overall brand aesthetics and goals.
  • Must be able to stay updated on industry trends and incorporate fresh ideas. You must understand the psychology of marketing and paid ads, leveraging this knowledge to enhance the impact of content. 
  • Must have experience in set building using props and set design techniques. 
  • Must be able to work under pressure. This can be a fast-paced environment and projects can pile up quickly. Being able to work efficiently is key.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience as a product photographer in an Ecommerce or retail environment.
  • Proficient with digital cameras, lighting equipment, and photo editing softwares (Adobe Suite).
  • Must be proficient in one or more of the following Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, or CaptureOne. 
  • Proficient in product, lifestyle, and studio photography. 
  • Experience in Animation, kinetic type, or graphic design.
  • Knowledge of fundamentals of design (what looks good/bad and why)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow through with client needs and be able to follow their brand guidelines. 
  • Must provide a portfolio of projects you've worked on within the past year.
