MEMCO SER is looking for EXPERIENCED  finishers to work all around Houston!

Job Description:
We are seeking a Commercial Drywall Finisher with experience using stilts to join our team. As a drywall finisher, you will be responsible for delivering the final touches on drywall installations, ensuring a smooth, professional finish. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in drywall finishing in commercial settings, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to safely and effectively use stilts for reaching high work areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply joint compound to drywall seams and smooth surfaces to prepare for painting.
  • Tape, mud, and sand drywall to achieve a seamless finish.
  • Patch, repair, and smooth damaged drywall.
  • Work with a variety of drywall finishes, including level 5 and custom textures.
  • Safely use stilts to reach higher areas for finishing tasks.
  • Collaborate with other construction team members to meet project deadlines.
  • Ensure that all work meets safety, quality, and project specifications.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Follow blueprints and project plans accurately.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a drywall finisher in commercial construction.
  • Must have experience working with stilts for drywall finishing.
  • Strong knowledge of joint compound, drywall tools, and finishing techniques.
  • Proficient in working with different drywall textures and finishes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
  • OSHA 10 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
  • Must have reliable transportation and your own tools.
  • Basic Plus certification is a plus
