Traveling Driller Helper - Entry Level OR Experienced (Per-Diem)

Location: St. Louis, MO

Travel: Up to 70% (5 days on/2 days off or 10 days on/4 days off)

Must Have: Clean MVR-Background 8 year look back-and Must be able to pass a 10 panel drug screen. They will also be subject to randoms and need to take drugscreens for specific federal projects.

Job Description:

Join our Geotechnical Engineering client in St. Louis, MO, as a Driller Helper. This role involves assisting with drilling, sampling, and well installation tasks while maintaining and repairing equipment. It is physically demanding and requires extensive travel. Responsibilities:

-Safely assist with routine drilling, sampling, and well installations

-Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on equipment

-Assemble, disassemble, and clean equipment and rigs

-Prepare necessary equipment for daily projects

-Assist the Driller as needed

-Working up to 55/hrs a week on occasion and making 1.5X pay for any overtime worked.

-This position requires overnight travel up to 70% of the time and provides per-diem (non-taxed) pay for food and other related travel expenses.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• No experience necessary; comprehensive training provided
• 21 years or older (preferred)
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform manual labor
• Willingness to work outdoors in various conditions
• Travel up to 70%
• Must pass a background check, driving record check, and drug screening
• Valid Drivers License
