Position Description


We’re looking for a full-time, Director, Talent Acquisition, to join the Day & Zimmermann team located in Philadelphia, PA!


This role will be responsible for the execution of talent acquisition, attraction, and sourcing strategies to support business objectives. Responsible for driving strategic initiatives in executive recruiting, workforce planning, onboarding, employment branding, social media, and candidate/hiring manager engagement, as well as overseeing operational aspects of talent acquisition.


As the Director, Talent Acquisition, here’s the work you’ll do:

  • Partner with stakeholders across the business including Business Leaders, Hiring Managers, Total Rewards, Talent & Organizational Development, Diversity & Inclusion, Legal, and the Shared Service Organization to drive company-wide Talent Acquisition strategies, policies, process, and metrics that map to company values and support organizational goals.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Talent Acquisition professionals to proactively support the recruitment needs of the organization. Responsible for all aspects of managing a team including but not limited to setting strategy, performance management, hiring, coaching, development, and workload balancing.
  • Lead sourcing and Talent Acquisition for key executive roles throughout the organization. Manage agency relationships, as needed.
  • Build infrastructure including the deployment and optimization of a new applicant tracking system to drive efficiency and accountability. Manage relationships with recruitment vendors (agencies, background checks, job boards, sourcing, etc). Monitor services to make sure we are maximizing our investments.
  • Develop, lead, and deliver on diversity recruiting strategies that increase diversity performance (i.e., diverse applicant flow). Build and develop relationships with diverse sources of talent (community outreach, HBCU, veterans groups, etc.) Participate in the evaluation of process related to OFCCP compliance, including research, analysis of liability, and planning for future policy and procedural changes.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert in talent acquisition strategies to educate internal partners on best practices in sourcing, legal requirements, interviewing skills and other related topics.

This role is for you if you have these skills:

  • Working knowledge of Employment law and general HR principles, including OFCCP compliance.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook, as well as a computerized applicant tracking system.
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end recruiting processes and sourcing strategies.
  • Project and Process Management Skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build trust, influence and credibility with Sr. Executives and other stakeholders across a matrixed organization.


And if you have these qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 8-10+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition; 3-5 yrs management experience
  • AIRS recruitment, AIRS Diversity certification preferred.


In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $134,880 - $202,320. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
