Director, Program Development and Campus Partnerships (PRODUCT DEV PROFL 4) Job Summary Continuing and Professional Education (CPE) offers a diverse range of online, hybrid, and open-access programs designed to accelerate professional growth and provide lifelong learning opportunities. These programs empower students to advance their careers, achieve their goals, and contribute meaningfully to their communities. Reporting to the Assistant Dean, the Director of Program Development and Campus Partnerships will be a visionary and strategic leader responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of high-demand open-enrollment programs across the division. This role is pivotal in advancing CPE's mission to expand educational access and drive sustainable revenue growth. Responsible for creating transformative learning experiences, a strong background in strategic marketing, and a proven track record in product development and expansion of online degree offerings.

- 5+ years of experience working in product development, new product marketing, project management or a related field
- 3+ years of experience marketing products or programs, including writing annual and campaign-specific marketing plans, developing media strategies, and tracking and monitoring digital ad performance.
- Demonstrated experience successfully developing and launching new product lines using market data research.
- Experience establishing and managing budgets, forecasting, assessing program outcomes, and using market data to inform decision-making.
- Technical proficiency in relevant systems, such as CRM tools, program management software, or learning management systems.
- Demonstrated proficiency in strategic planning, marketing analytics, project management and report generation.
- Demonstrated ability to build, sustain and maximize collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience working in higher education, marketing, corporate engagement, instructional design or related field.
- Experience writing proposals, negotiating contracts, securing new partnerships.
- Familiarity with higher education systems, online learning, and/or workforce development trends.
- Familiarity with DEI principles (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion).

Department Overview UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education (CPE) is the lifelong learning arm of the university. The division maintains the most diverse portfolio on the campus, with programs spanning pre-college, professional continuing education, workforce development, international academic and cultural exchange, and training services for corporate and agency partners. As a global leader in continuing education, CPE serves learners regionally, nationally and globally, and posts more than 55K enrollments annually making it the third largest UC Extension by enrollment. Beyond its community-facing role, CPE serves as the internal hub for online education in support of other academic units on the campus. CPE employs approximately 180 employees and draws on the expertise of approximately 1,700 instructors.
