We're seeking a dynamic Director of Business Development to join our team and drive growth in our transportation services. This is a hybrid role, allowing you to work remotely and in-person at our Farmingdale, NY location.

What You'll Do:

Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building strong relationships with potential clients.
Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
Pipeline Management: Manage sales pipelines, track key metrics, and forecast sales.
Negotiation Expert: Negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure profitable deals.
Team Leadership: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities.
Operational Oversight: Oversee day-to-day operations, including scheduling, routing, and dispatching.
Fleet Management: Manage the company's fleet of vehicles, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
What You'll Bring:

Proven track record in transportation and logistics sales and operations.
Strong understanding of LTL and cartage operations.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Leadership experience in managing teams and driving results.
Proficiency in transportation management systems and other relevant software.
Ability to travel as needed.
