The Vertex Co-op Program offers students the opportunity to learn about the pharmaceutical industry from a hands-on perspective. You will be working closely with and learning from some of the brightest people in the industry. Job Summary Our department is a highly collaborative multidisciplinary team consisting of biology, engineering, modeling and simulation, and prototyping, centered around developing cutting-edge transformative cell and gene delivery platforms. We are seeking an energetic and self-motivated undergraduate/graduate student to join our Device Research group supporting the Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) program. The individual should have a passion for learning, strong communication as well as excellent organizational skills. The individual will be required to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and will have the ability to utilize a variety of analytical tools and laboratory procedures according to prescribed protocols with an evolving ability to work independently. Prospective candidates should be currently enrolled in an undergraduate/graduate program in Biomedical, Chemical, Materials Science & Engineering, or related fields.
