Job Description

Role: Databricks Architect

Location: Dallas, TX (Remote work accepted)

Duration: 06+ months

Description:

  • Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements including product issue fixes, enhancements, new source data ingestions, complex solutions to meet business use cases.
  • Provide Production Support as per the requirement (as per the roster)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex Production issues to meet up SLA/PI targets Responsible for reviewing the code as per the best practices. Defining best practices and standards
  • Responsible for learn/review existing implementation and provide technical suggestion / solution for continuous improvement
  • Work closely with Offshore Team (if any) and coordinate the work effort to meet Sprint/PI deliverables

Requirement:

  • Architect and design solutions to meet functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our Databricks platform.
  • Work closely with our data engineering team to ensure that our Databricks platform is optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our data pipeline and data architecture.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure that our Databricks platform is integrated with our other systems and technologies.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for our Databricks platform, including architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and operational procedures.
  • Provide guidance and support to our data engineering team on Databricks-related issues.
  • Create and review architecture and solution design artifacts.

Mandatory:

  • Must have designed and implemented at least 2-3 projects end-to-end in Databricks and experience/exposure to snowflake
