Job Description

Role: Databricks Architect

Location: Dallas, TX (Remote work accepted)

Duration: 06+ months

Description:

Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements including product issue fixes, enhancements, new source data ingestions, complex solutions to meet business use cases.
Provide Production Support as per the requirement (as per the roster)
Troubleshoot and resolve complex Production issues to meet up SLA/PI targets Responsible for reviewing the code as per the best practices. Defining best practices and standards
Responsible for learn/review existing implementation and provide technical suggestion / solution for continuous improvement
Work closely with Offshore Team (if any) and coordinate the work effort to meet Sprint/PI deliverables

Requirement:

Architect and design solutions to meet functional and non-functional requirements.
Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our Databricks platform.
Work closely with our data engineering team to ensure that our Databricks platform is optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our data pipeline and data architecture.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure that our Databricks platform is integrated with our other systems and technologies.
Develop and maintain documentation for our Databricks platform, including architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and operational procedures.
Provide guidance and support to our data engineering team on Databricks-related issues.
Create and review architecture and solution design artifacts.

Mandatory:

Must have designed and implemented at least 2-3 projects end-to-end in Databricks and experience/exposure to snowflake
