Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. We are currently seeking a Database Developer/ETL for our client in the Financial Services domain. We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth. This is a Contract position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration: 12+ Months Contract (possible extension/ conversion)

Location: Smithfield, RI (Hybrid) 2 weeks onsite per month/ alternate weeks, rest remote

Salary: Up to $130,000/Annually or $65.00/Hourly

Role: Database Developer/ETL

Primary Skills: Database Development

Role Description: The Database Developer/ETL must have 5+ years of experience. 

Primary Responsibilities: 

- Database Development, primarily in Oracle PL/SQL.

- Must be strong in writing Complex Queries. 

- Writing PL/SQL functions and packages. 

- The ability to Diagnose data issues and performance matrix; ETL, specifically Informatica, experience also strongly preferred.

Must Haves:

- PL/SQL - Expert

- ETL

- Informatica

- Oracle - Expert

- Development background

- Packaging - Expert

Nice To Have Skills:

- Enterprise Data Lake experience

- Modeling nice to Have

- Financial background

- Cloud exposure

The Skills that are Key to this role:

- Demonstrative experience in Oracle/ PL-SQL and Informatica ETL including packages, procedures, function, and triggers.

- Ability to optimize sophisticated queries and compose efficient solutions.

- Experience working in enterprise environments with version control and deployment standards.

- Excellent Analytical and problem-solving skills with detail-oriented mindset.

- Extensive experience in Data engineering, Data modeling and Data analysis

- Experience in ETL invent and development.

- Experience with data base such as Oracle (Primary), SQL server.

- Experience of working in Agile methodology.

- Knowledge of Containerization and cloud deployment related to Database.

- Ability to build communication and rapport with partners and stakeholders.

- Ability to adapt, in a changing environment and be effective in many different business settings.

- Ability to take initiative, define vision for improvement of products, and execute at high level of quality

The Value You Deliver:

- Developing and crafting robust high per-performance database solutions.

- Assessing and researching current implementations of the platform and determining the course of action required to elevate the platform to meet customer needs.

- Taking the business requirements coupled with existing architecture to set a technical vision for features and major components and clearly articulating the evolutionary steps to achieve it.

Education: Bachelor’s degree

Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses
