We are currently seeking a Data Architect to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia (US-GA), United States (US).
Job Duties: As a Data Solution Architect with NTT DATA, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing cutting-edge data solutions for our clients across various industries. Your expertise in multi-cloud environments, combined with your consulting acumen, will drive successful project outcomes and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clients, project managers, business leaders, and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and ensure alignment with client goals and industry best practices.
Design end-to-end data architectures and solutions leveraging multi-cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud to meet customer needs and specific use cases.
Lead the implementation of data solutions, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and recommendations to project teams.
Conduct assessments of existing data infrastructure, develop long-term strategic goals for data architecture vision, and establish data standards for enterprise systems.
Utilize various cloud technologies and data platforms like Databricks and Snowflake to conceptualize and create an end-to-end vision for data flow.
Institute processes for governing the identification, collection, utilization, and tracking of corporate metadata, ensuring accuracy, validity, and data quality.
Develop comprehensive strategies and plans for data management, capacity planning, security, scalability, backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and archiving.
Identify potential areas for policy enhancements and initiate changes for optimal data management, while staying informed about upgrades and emerging technologies.
Offer technical recommendations to senior managers and technical staff in the development and implementation of databases and documentation.
Stay informed about emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in data architecture and management, applying them to enhance solution design and delivery.
Create documentation, including architectural diagrams and technical specifications, to support solution development and maintenance.
Minimum Skills Required: Basic Qualifications:10+ years of professional experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles.
10+ years of proven track record of designing and implementing data solutions, preferably in a variety of industries.
10+ years of extensive experience with data modeling, ETL processes, data integration, and data warehousing.
Undergraduate or graduate degree preferred.
Ability to travel at least 25%.
Preferred Skills:
Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, Snowflake and proficiency and certification in at least one of these platforms.
Demonstrated expertise in multi-cloud environments and familiarity with a range of data management tools and technologies.
Experience leading and mentoring project teams, providing technical guidance and support.
In-depth knowledge of data governance, security, compliance, and best practices in data management.
