Data Analyst II ? Globe Life is looking for a
Data Analyst II to join the team!
In this role, you will be responsible for the reporting and analysis of sales data and metrics used by Sales Executives and Field Sales Representatives.
This is a remote / work-from-home position. What You Will Do - Prepare daily, weekly, and quarterly reporting for multiple Globe Life divisions.
- Use Microsoft Excel, QlikView, and SQL to develop key sales metric reporting.
- Build dashboards to provide insights.
- Focus on and maintain data accuracy.
- Keep report and process documentation updated.
- Coordinate with other departments to gather information and resolve potential issues.
- Audit other teammates' reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Ad hoc reporting and analysis.
- Analyze data and reports to provide insights into trends.
- Identify and explain reporting anomalies.
- Create simple dashboards in Tableau.
- Perform other duties as necessary and appropriate.
- Translate raw data into summary metrics when provided with a problem statement.
What You Can Bring - Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years’ work experience or 4+ years’ work experience.
- Insurance industry experience is a plus.
- Experience working in both a team and individual environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex functions and macros).
- Intermediate to strong SQL skills: create stored procedures, views, and joins in tables.
- Work with source systems, ETL tools, and SQL processes to understand/build/debug the sources of visualization data.
- Review and interpret data and translate into actionable insights.
- Tableau knowledge is a plus.
- Completes work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Gauges workflow to allow for working on multiple reports where overlap exists.
- Meets deadlines consistently.
- Able to identify issues and recommend solutions.
- Experience with requirements gathering and understanding the needs of the end user.
