Job Description

LaSalle Network is partnering with a financial services client to identify a Data Analyst to help with a project. This position is a 3-month contract and can be performed 100% remotely. Below is information about the project, with the most important skill being Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Data Analyst Responsibilities:
  • Conduct a comprehensive review of existing client information in Salesforce.com, ensuring accuracy and completeness of key data points such as contracts, contacts, services, and fee schedules
  • Audit billing templates (Excel) and historical invoices to validate fee structures, calculations, and compliance
  • Identify and document data discrepancies, analyze findings, and provide detailed reports with recommendations for improvement
Data Analyst Requirements:
  • Translate business language and rules into structured data
  • Identify patterns and outliers, extract insights, and format findings for review
  • Experience with data cleansing and validation techniques
  • Hands-on experience (min 1 year)
  • Object Model Familiarity (ie, Accounts, Opportunities, Contracts, Contacts)
  • Report generation (create and customize reports and dashboards, and format output for analysis in Excel)
  • Expert-level Excel skills, including data manipulation, analysis, and reporting
  • Formulas (ie, Vlookups), Pivot Tables, Formatting (ie, dates and numbers), Normalization (ie, new sheets for one to many relationships)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Supervisors will be remote
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with stakeholders
