Customer Service/Treatment Coordinator
Do you enjoy working with the public and being an integral part of a team? We are looking for an emotionally intelligent, hardworking team member with the ability to learn quickly!
You will work closely with the orthodontists and other team members to ensure that the patients receive the appropriate orthodontic care. They serve as a liaison between the clinical team and patients, ensuring they make informed decisions about their orthodontic treatment plans.
NO Experience Needed:
Prior medical office or dental/orthodontic experience is a plus, but it’s certainly not required. Bi-lingual Spanish/English applicants welcome! We offer paid training, believing that knowledge is power; we want ALL our team members to be successful & fulfilled!!
Some of your duties:
- Compassionately communicate with patients to understand their needs and address any concerns they may have regarding their smile
-Clearly direct patients through next steps, minimizing confusion and scheduling accurately for future appointments
- Taking time to clearly explain treatment options presented by the doctor and assist patients in making the most informed decision about their orthodontic care
- Educating patients on all cost and financing options
- Provide comprehensive information about the benefits and advantages of our services, creating a strong value proposition
- Reviewing and organizing patient orthodontic charts for accuracy and authenticity, new patient coordination (intake evaluations, forms, insurance verification), preauthorizations
-Consistent and prompt follow-up with patients via phone call, email, or text message to answer questions and convert “pending exams” to “started treatments”
- Consistent cross-training for optimal career growth
- Understanding and respecting patient privacy laws
- Occasionally participate in practice-sponsored events, supporting our strong and positive reputation in the community
