Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the activities within the businesses, supporting around two to ten countries. Each day, you will partner with all ABB businesses to enable achieving the objectives like cost efficiency, service quality, transparency, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring improved customer experience and first contact to cash transition rate and creating more business opportunities for ABB. The work model for the role is onsite/hybrid. This role is contributing to the Process Automation Process Industries division in the US. You will be mainly accountable for: • Creates, implements, monitors and reviews customer support strategy. Defines key targets and ensures these are achieved for the customer support. • Develops, implements, and maintains customer support processes. Ensures the resolution of customer issues (e.g., order, technical, payment) by coordinating with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain Management, and other internal and/or external teams. Coordinates resolution with After-Sales Service and/or Spare Parts teams. • Oversees price quotes to customers. Ensures timely issue of invoices for revenue generation. Identifies and closely follows up on customer issues relating to credit. Establishes regular reports and statistics of the customer support process. Reviews and analyzes performance against standards and prepares improvement plans. Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum 5 years of customer service-related experience
  • Available to work within the US
  • Maximum travel 5-10%
  • Understanding of products used in support of the Paper, Energy and Analytics industries preferred.
  • Knowledge of ABB Products (i.e. DCS, QCS, Drives) preferred.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
