Summary of Responsibility:

Trident SE - Haas Factory Outlet Florida is currently seeking a bold and detailed candidate to fill the position of Customer Advocate in our Tampa, FL Office. Trident SE is a division of the Morris Group, one of the largest Machine Tool Distributor in North America. A third-generation family-owned business that prides itself on excellent benefits, employee retention, and exciting work environment.

What You Will Contribute:

  • Manage order processing and updating the customer through the order process.
  • Receive calls from customers, process orders, and provide answers to standard inquiries.
  • Handle logistics and coordination for freight and rigging activities.
  • Process Management (Oversights): Invoicing, check processing, vehicle/fleet management, maintaining data, scheduling/coordinating training programs and events
  • Create and own the administrative process for opportunities with the sales team.
  • Assist Sales Engineers in proposal generation; follow up as necessary
  • File and release all necessary UCC1’s
  • Possess and maintain a basic knowledge of machine tool industry and product lines represented by the company
  • Oversite of Office Supplies and Functionality.
  • Export Compliance

  • Perform related duties as required.

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Proven experience in a customer facing role.
  • Ability to multitask
  • Experience with process management and improvement
  • Previous experience working with a sales organization
  • Ability to use independent judgment and decision-making skills to identify best methods for order processing and resolving customer issues and requests
  • MS Office Experience – Prefer Strong MS Excel Skills
  • Salesforce
  • Quote Works (Preferred)
  • Experience providing customer support, both phone and email
  • Strong logistical skills
  • Ability to follow standard to sophisticated written and verbal instructions such as bills of materials and shipping documents, or equivalent
