### **About the Role**
We are looking for a talented and storytelling-driven **Video Editor** to join our creative team. You won't just be "cutting footage"—you will be responsible for crafting narratives, maintaining viewer retention, and producing polished visual assets that align with our brand voice.

### **Key Responsibilities**
* **End-to-End Editing:** Assemble raw footage into polished high-quality videos (Long-form YouTube, VSLs, or Short-form social clips).
* **Storytelling & Pacing:** Use creative cuts, b-roll, and sound design to keep the audience engaged.
* **Motion Graphics:** Design and animate text overlays, lower thirds, and custom transitions (After Effects) to increase production value.
* **Audio Post-Production:** Clean up dialogue, sync audio, and select royalty-free music/SFX that matches the emotional tone.
* **Color Grading:** Apply color correction/grading to ensure a consistent, professional "look."
* **Platform Optimization:** Reformat videos for various platforms (16:9, 9:16, 4:5).
* **Asset Management:** Organize and archive project files to ensure the team can access assets easily.
### **Requirements**
* **Location:** Must be a resident of a country in **Europe** or **South America**.
* **Experience:** 3+ years of professional video editing experience (Agency or Freelance).
* **Portfolio:** A showreel or portfolio demonstrating a strong grasp of pacing and visual storytelling is **mandatory**.
* **Software Mastery:** Expert proficiency in **Adobe Premiere Pro** and **After Effects**. (Or DaVinci Resolve).
* **Language:** Professional proficiency in English (Written and Spoken).
* **Technical Setup:**
* Workstation capable of rendering 4K footage without lag.
* **Stable, high-speed internet connection** (Critical for uploading large files).
### **Nice to Have**
* Experience with **DaVinci Resolve** for advanced color grading.
* Ability to create custom thumbnails in **Photoshop**.
* Experience using AI tools (Topaz, Captions.ai, Midjourney).
* Understanding of US/Global pop-culture trends (crucial for editing style).
