Jovie Nannies and Sitters, a trusted nanny agency in Lawrence, KS, is seeking a part-time nanny to join a fun-loving family! This is the perfect opportunity for a creative and energetic individual who thrives in a playful environment.

About the Family:

This warm and inviting family is looking for a nurturing and enthusiastic nanny to join their team. They have two smart and active children - a curious 2-year-old and a crafty 4-year-old - who are full of energy and imagination. The schedule is Monday-Wednesday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, with Thursdays being 10-4pm.

About the Role:

In this role, you'll be more than just a caregiver – you'll be a playful pal for these creative kiddos! Here's what your days might look like:

Weekdays:

 

• Arrive and help with morning routines.
• Engage the children in fun and stimulating activities, fostering their creativity and love for learning through crafts, games, storytelling, or outdoor play (weather permitting).
• Prepare and enjoy healthy meals and snacks.
• Help with nap time and afternoon routines.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for the children.
• Communicate effectively with parents about the day's activities.

The Ideal Candidate:

 

• Experience caring for young children (2+ years old preferred)
• Enjoys age-appropriate activities like arts and crafts, games, and storytelling
• Reliable, responsible, and energetic with a positive and playful attitude
• Creative and resourceful in coming up with engaging activities
• Comfortable working independently and managing a daily schedule
• CPR and First Aid certified
