Pay : $30-$35/hr
Hours : 8am-5pm, M-F
Location : Colorado Springs, CO 80915
Position Type : Temp to hire
Responsibilities
Analyze and collect cost information associated with labor, inventory, and organizational expenses (Efficiency, Production Variance, Inventory, TE, Indirect Materials, etc.)
Assist with budget and forecasting reports
Assist with month-end closing and prepare journal entries
Assist with annual and ad-hoc standard cost rolls
Maintain Fixed Assets and submit Capital Expenditures Requests
Reconcile inventory accounts
Ensure compliance and provide audit requests
Collaborate with various departments to educate and provide costing tools
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant study
2-5 years of accounting experience (preference for someone with manufacturing experience)
Proven work experience as a Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, Accountant, or similar role
Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Excel (pivot table and basic formula knowledge)
Experience tracking efficiencies, direct labor hours, production variances, and inventory evaluation in a manufacturing setting
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Must be able to work independently
