The Netflix Production Archives team is currently seeking a dedicated loans coordinator who will be responsible for the coordination, curating, cataloging, packing and monitoring of archival loans as our business expands. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a passion for the entertainment industry. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects of a loan with internal and external partners for use of the archival collection.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to prepare department related documents and contracts according to Netflix policies and procedures.
  • Maintain detailed records of all archival loan requests.
  • Curate, catalog and condition report archival assets as needed to fulfill loan requests.
  • Update asset management systems and assist with data clean-up projects.
  • Assist in the curation, set-up and strike of local displays and events.
  • Conduct research to authenticate and appraise assets.
  • Inform the purchasing of departmental and archival supplies as needed.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of proper archival practices and preservation procedures, with a focus on physical 3D objects and textiles.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience working in an archive, museum, or similar institution.
  • Bachelor's degree in History, Archival Studies, Museum Studies, Film Studies or a related field. A Master's degree in Library and Information Science is a plus.
  • Experience with dressing mannequins and creating mounts for displays.
  • Ability to problem solve and manage various projects simultaneously and successfully.
  • Effective communicator, both oral and written.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with the entertainment industry.
  • Manually dexterity to handle delicate items with care and ability to lift 50 pound boxes.
  • Comfortable working in warehouse environments.

Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $50,000 - $245,000.

Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
