Job Description

Construction – Project Manager/Sr. Project Manager

Responsibilities

Develop new clients and maintain existing client relationships
Estimate projects and prepare bid proposals
Manage several projects simultaneously
Procure, coordinate and manage subcontractors & suppliers
Monitor material lead times & delivery dates
Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedule (Proficient in Microsoft Project)
Communicate daily with project team (Site Superintendent, Architect, Engineers)
Chair client progress meetings and prepare meeting minutes
Review, log, and monitor submittals & Coordinate Shop Drawings
Prepare, log, and monitor Requests For Information (RFI’s)
Prepare, log, and monitor Change Proposals
Prepare, log, and monitor Client AIA Requisitions For Payment
Process subcontractor & supplier invoices
Facilitate project close out
Computer Skills – Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook

Requirements Include

Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
Demonstrated interest in a construction-related career.

Local inquiries only – must know the Maryland, Northern Virginia, and Washington, DC market, clients, and subcontractors.
