Job Description

Our construction company is seeking an experienced construction professional with excellent leadership skills. If you're good at managing general contractors, hiring subcontractors, and maintaining safety and compliance at a construction site, then you might be perfect as our next construction superintendent. Our ideal candidate has 5 years of construction field experience who can supervise all site activities and maintain safety compliance at all times. Responsibilities:

• Hire subcontractors and verify that they have all the required permits
• Review subcontractor output concerning schedules and success targets to ensure that the project is on track to be completed on time, on budget, and to the highest standards required
• Consult with the project's stakeholders to ensure that the project remains within budget
• Confirm that every construction project produces a high-quality finished product, supervise construction workers, execute regular on-site inspections, and provide feedback as needed
• Prepare a written proposal for homeowners that includes a cost estimate for the project

Qualifications:

• You will need a high school diploma for this position, and a bachelor’s degree is preferred
• OSHA 30 certification and firm adherence to safety protocols on the job-site
• Basic computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office
• Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and time-management skills
• Minimum 5 years work experience as a general contractor needed, with additional management experience being preferred
