Job Description

We're expanding and looking for a passionate, full-time Estimator with expertise in commercial construction space! If you're excited by transforming spaces and crafting detailed cost estimates that bring dreams to life, we want to hear from you. This role will have you working on a variety of projects, from demolition to finishing touches, covering:

  • Demolition and Excavation
  • Concrete Work and Foundations
  • Framing (walls, floors, and roofs)
  • Siding, Doors, and Windows
  • Insulation and Drywall
  • Painting and Interior Trim
  • Finish Flooring and Tiling
  • Roofing and more

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze project plans and specifications to create detailed, accurate cost estimates.
  • Partner with architects, engineers, and project managers to understand each project's unique needs.
  • Develop and submit bids and proposals, adhering to project timelines.
  • Assess and strategize around potential risks to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Prepare quantity takeoffs, material pricing, and determine labor/equipment costs.
  • Coordinate subcontractor job walks and solicitations.
  • Track and maintain schedules, comparing trade bids and assisting job site staff post-award.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors for top-quality service.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in construction estimating.
  • 5+ years of experience with plan reading and as-builts.
  • Deep understanding of construction methods, materials, and remodeling processes.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple projects.
  • Driver's License (required).
