Job Overview Scott Electric is seeking a skilled and dedicated Construction Electrician to join our Field Operations team. This full-time, hands-on role involves performing expert-level electrical work in both residential and commercial environments, including troubleshooting, installations, and repairs. Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To - Install wiring, conduits, electrical panels, lighting systems, and related components
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in residential and commercial systems
- Conduct routine maintenance to ensure compliance and safety
- Interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to execute projects accurately
- Ensure adherence to all applicable local, state, and national electrical codes
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to deliver seamless solutions
- Maintain documentation for work performed and system updates
- Deliver outstanding customer service on every job site
- Operate safely using all required PPE and best practices
Qualifications - 5+ years of electrical experience preferred
- Valid driver's license (required)
- Journeyman electrician license (preferred, not required)
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- Proficient in interpreting blueprints and using testing equipment
- Knowledge of safety standards and electrical codes
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Team player with excellent work ethic and communication skills
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time

Work Schedule - Full-Time: Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts scheduled
- Overtime available (occasionally mandatory as jobs may require)
Work Location: - Onsite in Columbia, MO and surrounding areas
