Project Details:  

  • Pay Rate: $17-19/hr – Depending on Experience 
  • Duration: 5 month contract
  • Start Date: Tentative start date of 7/1
  • Location: Newnan, GA
  • Requirements: All positions require a successful completion of a background check & possible drug test (we do not check credit) - ABBTECH pays for both checks 
  • Certification Requirements: CompTIA A+ or equivalent 
  • Duties: We are looking for 3 technicians to support the project, and who will be responsible for the following tasks:
    • Boxing and Unboxing Computers
    • Asset Tagging and Maintaining inventory tracking of new assets being deployed
    • Imaging and deploying new Endpoints
    • Data gathering and documenting from the customer base
    • Data transfer, validation and sign-off from customers
    • Collecting, sorting, wiping, documenting, and preparing returned Endpoints for e-Waste
    • Supporting Daily Desktop Operations where applicable and as needed
  • The customer has enhanced vaccination requirements due to the nature of the patients they are treating. 

    Employees working on this project must meet the following Vaccine/TB Test requirements by the first day of employment. Documentation of proof is mandatory. ABBTECH will reimburse for the costs of any additional Vaccines/Tests that you may need.  Should you have any questions or concerns regarding this, please contact HR@abbtech.com

    Tdap (Optional)
    Flu (When in season)
    Varicella – Proof of 2 Vaccines or a blood Titer test of immunity 
    Hep B (Optional)
    MMR – Proof of 2 vaccines or a blood titer test of immunity
    Covid Vaccine – Proof of vaccine or a signed COVID declination Form. 
    TB Test Skin Test (2 required 1 week apart) 
    TB Blood Test (can be used instead of 2 part skin test) 
    TB Xray (Needed if positive skin or blood test)

The above salary range represents the range expected for the position; however, final salary offers are based on a number of factors such as the position’s responsibilities; the candidate’s experience, education, and skills; location; travel required; and current market conditions.??  
QUALIFICATIONS  
Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.  
Required Qualification:
  • High School Diploma and 1 year of experience with at least a CompTIA A+ certification or at least 2 years of experience. 
  • At least 1 year of experience working as an End User Computing PC/Laptop Deployment Team 
  • Possesses proven customer service background. 
  • Able to follow verbal and written instructions and update tracking systems as directed 
  • Possesses good analytical and communication skills 
  • Possesses strong ability to work independently 
  • Able to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions and scripts 
  • Detailed oriented, independent, self-starter and customer service oriented 
  • Must have the ability to lift up-to 50lbs. 
  • Must be able to be on your feet ALL DAY and include up to walking the entire building, walking to different buildings and up and down stairs. 
Desired Qualification:
  • MCP, MCSE, CNE or Network+ certification is a plus 
  • Certification in various hardware platforms may optionally be required for servicing hardware issues.
