Job Description

Coast to Coast Connections is looking for an enthusiastic Entry-Level Community Outreach Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about making a positive impact in their community and supporting nonprofits.

In this role, you'll assist in promoting events, building community relationships, and supporting our nonprofit partners through grassroots outreach efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help promote and organize community outreach events, including setting up and interacting with attendees.
  • Build relationships with local communities, businesses, and organizations to promote nonprofit causes.
  • Educate the public on the missions of the nonprofits we work with, encouraging involvement and donations.
  • Answer questions and assist with inquiries at events, ensuring a positive experience for attendees.
  • Help raise funds and track donations during community events.
  • Feedback Collection : Gather feedback from attendees to improve future outreach efforts.
  • Team Collaboration : Work closely with other team members to ensure event success and smooth operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma (or equivalent); college degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Outgoing and friendly, with the ability to engage with a variety of people.
  • Highly organized with excellent time-management skills.
  • Motivated, proactive, and eager to contribute to community causes.
  • Ability to work weekends and flexible hours for events.
