Job Description

Position: Field Service Engineer - CNC Milling/turning

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer with expertise in CNC Milling and Turning to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing on-site service, installation, troubleshooting, and repairs for our customers' CNC milling/turning machines. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role that requires excellent technical knowledge and exceptional customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Travel to customer sites to install, troubleshoot, and repair CNC milling/turning machines.
Perform regular maintenance and inspections on machines to ensure optimal performance.
Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, or on-site visits.
Collaborate with other engineers to resolve complex technical issues.
Train customers on the proper operation and maintenance of their machines.
Assist with machine tool retrofits and upgrades.
Create and maintain service reports and documentation.

Qualifications:

At least 3-5 years of experience working with CNC milling/turning machines in a field service role.
Strong knowledge of CNC, Milling, and Turning processes.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Experience with machine tool retrofitting and upgrades.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours.
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
