Role: Citrix SME Azure Platform

Location Required: Remote.

Who are we looking for?

• Highly skilled and self-driven Citrix Sr. SME to support both BAU operations and project implementations in a Citrix on Azure environment.
• The candidate must be capable of independently managing Citrix infrastructure, providing architectural guidance, and delivering hands-on support and consulting for enterprise environments.
• Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience managing and supporting Citrix infrastructure, with at least 3 5 years in Azure-hosted Citrix environments.

Key Responsibilities:

BAU Support:

• Manage day-to-day Citrix operations hosted on Azure and AWS (Citrix Cloud, CVAD, NetScaler Citrix Cloud Gateway Services, FSLogix, Autoscale).
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and resolution of complex Citrix VDI issues.
• Handle patching, image updates, user profile issues, and policy administration.
• Maintain and optimize performance using Citrix Director and Azure Monitor.
• Support delivery groups, machine catalogs, and user access provisioning.

BAU Projects:

• Lead deployments, upgrades, and migrations of Citrix infrastructure on Azure.
• Configure Citrix Machine Creation Services (MCS) and FSLogix in Azure.
• Participate in capacity planning, load balancing, and HA design.
• Implement Cloud Gateway Services for external access and gateway services.
• Develop and execute scripts or automation for image updates and scaling.

Consultation and Advisory:

Offer expert-level advice on Citrix architecture, design, and optimization.

Review and fine-tune customer Citrix environments for performance, security, and cost efficiency.

Support integration with Azure AD, Conditional Access, and MFA policies.

Skills Required:

We are looking for a skilled technical professional with expertise in following areas:

• Citrix Cloud, Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (CVAD)
• Microsoft Azure (Virtual Machines, Networking, Storage, RBAC, Azure Entra ID Domain services)
• Citrix Machine Creation Services (MCS)

Citrix StoreFront

• Citrix ADC (NetScaler) Cloud Gateway Services configuration, SSL, HA, SSO
• FSLogix, Citrix Profile Management, Workspace Environment Management, Windows Group Policy management
• Citrix Director, Studio, Autoscale.
• Azure Monitor, Security Center
• PowerShell scripting, Azure Automation, GitHub
• Windows 11

Certifications:

• Citrix certifications preferred: CC-VAD-MA, CCP-V, or CCE-V.
• Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty AZ-140 certification is a plus.
