Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) Salary: $68-$79k/yr BOE Schedule: Full time | M-F| Flexible hours Location: Dayton/Springfield Ohio (surrounding area) Requirements of the COTA role: * Licensed Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant * CPR/BLS Certified * Must be willing to travel * Valid Drivers License and Auto insurance Coverage * Reliable transportation * Home health experience preferred About the Occupational Therapist Assistant role: * Performs treatment visits, and communicates with the supervising therapist regarding patient progress. * Travel to a facility, or residential location to complete the patient evaluation. * Provides occupational therapy services to clients by assisting in assessment, treatment, program, planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication. * following the plan of care set by the therapist * Complete subsequent follow-up visits. * Identifies indications for evaluations of clients at appropriate intervals under the direction of the Occupational Therapist. * Conducts individual treatment, outlined in the treatment plan that includes, but is not limited to, areas of activities of daily living, functional mobility, range of motion, strength, coordination, cognitive/perceptual remediation, and functional maintenance. * Maintain a weekly caseload of 27-32 visits (full-time) * Utilize a universal electronic documentation system. * Maintains positive relationships and rapport with coworkers, supervisors, clients, family members, community personnel, and administration.
