Job Description

This position is a DAYSHIFT schedule - there is NO Overnight travel, with some nights and weekends, only as needed. 

CDL Tanker Driver Requirements | WHAT YOU BRING

• Experience working with septic tanks is preferred
• Must hold a Class A CDL license 
• Tanker Endorsement is required 
• Valid Driver’s License with a good standing driving record
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to pass a background check and DOT drug and physical exam
• Excellent customer service skills
• This position may be required to work evenings, weekends, and other non-standard work hours as needed
• Knowledge of drains and septic systems is a plus 
• Experience with hands-on work in the field 

CDL Tanker Driver Responsibilities | WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• As a tanker driver, you will drive to and service local residential and commercial properties by observing the condition of septic tanks and identifying any issues or potential problems
• Perform routine maintenance such as pumping and properly disposing of non-hazardous waste that accumulates sludge, which helps prevent blockages
• Provide maintenance recommendations to customers 
• Performing daily pre-trip and post-trip maintenance and inspections 
• Adhere to all transportation regulations and company policies
• Follow safety rules and best practices under Zoom Drain requirements
• Speak with customers and communicate effectively with them on any follow-up maintenance recommendations
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and findings for compliance purposes
• The ability to meet the physical demands of the job
• Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
• Go the extra mile to engage customers

Salary

• $65,000 - $80,000 / year
• Performance Bonus
