Job Responsibilities

  • Source, qualify, and add drayage carriers to our network
  • Maintain and develop close relationships with drayage carriers through daily communication
  • Research, negotiate, and provide market-competitive rates with drayage carriers
  • Understand the drayage market and seasonality in order to provide customer with high quality service
  • Cross collaborate with other departments to ensure shipments are covered with the best viable option
  • Quickly and efficiently solve problems and make decisions
  • Provide superior customer service
  • Other duties as assigned

Work Experience and Background Requirements

  • Logistics experienced preferred
  • Understanding all aspects and requirements for container movement 
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
  • Sales and negotiation skills
  • Strong decision-making ability and judgment
  • Positive and energetic team player
  • Flexible thinker, solutions-oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
