Job Description

The Carpenter, Cabinet Maker will construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard, using carpenter's hand tools and power tools.

Essential Job Duties:
• Cut wood and laminate on table saw and with router.
• Build cabinets and displays from engineered drawings using screw and nail guns.
• Perform quality workmanship as a precision builder.
• Read and interpret drawings.
• Generate own cut lists of wood and laminate to completion of project.

Skills/Abilities:
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Proven success taking direction and following instructions.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Team Player.
• Attention to detail.
• Possess basic set of hand tools.
• Dependable.
• Self-motivated.

Education/Experience:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Carpentry/Laminating: 3-5 years
• Trade Show experience a plus

Physical Requirements:
• Heavy physical effort may include lifting, walking, stopping, kneeling, crouching or crawling may be required.
• Normal vision abilities required including close vision and ability to adjust focus.
