Job Title: Natural Gas Designer
Job Description We are seeking entry level civil, electrical, or mechanical engineer graduates to become Natural Gas Designers to address an excess amount of requests and backlog work for one of the nation's largest energy and utilities companies. This is a fully remote position, with the exception of candidates residing in specific states listed below. We are looking for CAD Designer from grad for a first job to 3-4 years of experience. The opportunity is expected to last at least a year, with potential for additional work and possible permanent hire based on performance.
The role involves high-volume, quick-turnaround new service design work, with some projects completed in less than an hour. You will engage in constant communication with project managers and customer service teams. Responsibilities include designing utility systems using CAD and GIS software, preparing work orders, planning and research, providing field design and support, mentoring, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You may occasionally need to conduct site visits to collect and verify drawing data, with all expenses paid.
