Job Description

·         Exciting tasks and topics - You will become part of an experienced and growing team that takes care of the introduction and further development of digital platforms and technologies in the area of “data and analytics”.

·         Impact & Responsibility - You will become our subject matter expert in the area of automating and optimizing data extraction from customer systems.

·         Diverse areas of focus: You are responsible for the tools that make data integration between customer systems and other providers (e.g. SAP S4Hana, other ERP systems, CRM systems, Atlassian ecosystem) possible.

·         Competent assistance - You identify and drive the technical development of use cases, together with both internal teams and our customer teams.

·         Pass on expertise - you advise other teams and help translate business problems into technical solutions.

·         Preparation of complex data structures and information and provision through queries and procedures

·         Implementing ETL (extract/transform/load) pipelines

·         Use of tools to store data in databases and cubes

·         Carrying out testing and troubleshooting in support cases

·         Support in the conception and implementation of business intelligence solutions

·         Independent procurement of information and close cooperation with various departments at home and abroad

·         Defining and ensuring standards, quality and stability along the entire process chain

·         Setting up and monitoring the processing processes, as well as carrying out performance tuning

·         Development and updating of technical documentation

·         Evaluation and improvement of existing integration processes

Requirements

Training and work experience

·         IT-related training or a degree is an advantage. However, qualified career changers are also welcome

·         Relevant professional experience integrating data between different systems desirable, but not essential

Expertise

·         Safe handling of T-SQL querying according to the Ansi standard

·         Confident use of at least one programming language, such as Java, ABAP,

·         .NET | Build. Test. Deploy., C++, Python or similar

·         Initial experience with various databases, such as MS SQL Server, Postgres, Exasol, Informix, SAP Hana and Oracle

·         Initial experience in dealing with SAP S4/Hana or SAP R3

·         Understanding of the basic structure and function of ERP systems, CRM systems and other systems that are used in everyday business in order to be able to support problem-solving.

Soft Skills

·         “Hands-on” mentality, completing tasks independently, but also a team player

·         Strong analytically and conceptually

·         Good knowledge of English and Microsoft Office

·         Communicative, goal-oriented and resilient

·         Ability to take the initiative to create innovative and sustainable solutions
