Job Title: Business Analyst Summer Internship 2025
Summary: In this position, you will assist with specialized projects focused on further automating our day-to-day processes for Customer Service in The Americas. Projects will include components of data entry, research, and operating within CRM applications.
Responsibilities Include: - Regional Scope - Customer Service - The Americas (North America + Latin America)
- Display strong business acumen and ability to take initiative and ownership of project needs
- Significant experience in complex and ever-changing environments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple requests/demands on time
- Prioritize workload depending on project needs for on-time completion
- Possess a sense of urgency when performing tasks; excellent organizational skills
- Completes other duties as assigned
Qualifications: The following are required for the role - Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Science or a related field
- Quick learner with a strong tech-savvy mindset, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - specifically Excel + Outlook
- Desire to learn about + exposure to an Integrated Global Supply Chain and the Specialty Chemical industry
- Ability to handle multiple requests and demands on time, prioritize workload depending on the needs of the project for on-time completion
Program Requirement - The candidate must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at the time of application and for at least one semester following the conclusion of the internship.
- The candidate is expected to be available to work in person 40 hours a week for 10-12 weeks between May and August.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Regularly required to sit, talk, and hear, use hands to type, handle or feel. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. Visual acuity to use a keyboard, prepare and analyze data and figures, transcribe, view a computer terminal, and do extensive reading. May require ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; or the ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, and move a light to medium weight. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand, and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and learn technical information. Students enrolled in a Graduate degree level program are eligible to receive a higher rate than the range listed below. Master's rate: $32/hr; PhD rate: $37/hr
What We Offer: Base Pay Range: $22.00 - $26.00
The base salary offered is determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, skill sets, and geography.
