Boba N Chai Llc in Cary, NC is looking for one bubble tea barista to join our 4 person strong team. We are located on 3460 Ten Ten Rd Ste 116. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and hard-working.

Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and skilled Barista to join our team at our bustling boba shop. As a Boba Shop Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional boba beverages and providing outstanding customer service. If you have a love for boba and enjoy working in a fast-paced, energetic environment, this position is perfect for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of boba beverages, including milk teas, fruit teas, and specialty drinks, with precision and consistency.
• Assist in the preparation and cooking of boba ingredients, such as tapioca pearls, syrups, and jellies, following established recipes.
• Ensure the highest quality standards in beverage preparation, maintaining the integrity of flavors and presentation.
• Take customer orders, provide recommendations, and answer inquiries about our menu offerings.
• Operate boba equipment, such as espresso machines, blenders, and shakers, ensuring cleanliness and proper maintenance.
• Maintain inventory of boba ingredients, supplies, and equipment, ensuring timely restocking as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including boba preparation stations, beverage counters, and dining areas.
• Uphold excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, addressing their needs, and resolving any issues or complaints in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Assist using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations, especially during peak hours.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage practices.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a barista in a boba shop, coffee shop, or similar fast-paced food service environment is highly desirable.
• Knowledge and passion for boba and familiarity with different types of boba beverages.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
• Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques is a plus.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, as per business needs.
