This is an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable and credible BIM specialist to join our team at our office in Melbourne , to lead and manage complex BIM projects and produce BIM models and CAD drawings for all stages of design for our renowned projects across Australia.
As part of our established team of expert engineers and CAD/Revit technicians across our global offices, and working closely with colleagues of various disciplines, you will oversee the production of detailed and coordinated 3D BIM models using Revit into our current design practices, and train and mentor more junior CAD staff in the use of Revit.
Having already been accredited with minimum of a relevant HNC/HND (or equivalent) and having proven experience at BIM level 2, you have gained strong practical experience of using Revit in a similar building/MEP-based role.
You are adept at planning and organising your workload as well as the workload of the technicians working under you .
You will need excellent communication and inter-personal skills, dealing directly with clients as well as sub-contractors and internal staff of all levels. You will require a solid understanding of all BIM practices and documentation such as ISO 19650 and COBie, not just from a delivery perspective but also from a lead role and have the ability to interpret and author all forms of BIM documentation.
You must have strong BIM and Digital Engineering software knowledge, not only in Revit but also packages such as BIM 360, Navisworks, Dynamo and the various Microsoft packages for formulating reports etc.
You must have sound knowledge of multi-disciplinary services coordination and have proven experience of working under pressure to tight deadlines.
