Job Description

Summary

Warwick River Christian, a faith-based center, has openings for a part-time employee. Positions include working with school-age children. Preference will be given to applicants with previous childcare experience, however those with a desire to work with children are encouraged to apply.

Duties

· Supervise school-age children during Before and After Care and on non-school days. Possibility of full-time employment during the summer.
· Working with preschoolers in an age-appropriate learning environment.
· Maintain a clean classroom.
· Maintain a calm environment conducive to learning.
· Work as a team with other staff members
· Plan activities appropriate for the age group you are working with.

Requirements

· Need the energy and personality appropriate to work with and care for children 2.5 to 13 years old.
· Successfully complete a full background check.
· Commitment to personal ongoing professional development.

Nice To Haves

· First Aid and CPR certification
· MAT training
· CDA
· Commercial driver’s license
