Orbital ATK is currently seeking an Associate Janitor for our Defense Electronics Group team in our Ridgecrest, CA facility.
Job Summary:
Maintenance/Janitorial duties such as trash pick-up, mopping, waxing floors, dusting, and etc. Perform maintenance and mechanical duties for assigned areas and related facilities, furnishings, and equipment. The required duties may include painting, and related work. Incumbents should be able to work independently with little supervision. May be asked to drive a company truck to deliver parts. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, must have valid CA license, and good grasp of the English language. Handyman skills a plus.
• One year recent experience in housekeeping within an industrial/commercial environment;
• Ability to work various shifts and alternate work hours as required;
• Good communication skills; ability to read, understand, and follow instructions;
• Excellent attendance record including punctuality;
• Valid CA Driver’s License with good driving record.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain Security Clearance.
