We are a plaintiff-based Worker's Compensation & Personal Injury focused law firm. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Assistant Office Manager to provide support and ensure the smooth operation of our office. If you have experience in the legal field, a background in medical knowledge, and a passion for leadership, we would love to hear from you.
Job Responsibilities :
* Manage daily office operations, ensuring efficiency and organization.
* Oversee staff and provide guidance to improve workflow and productivity.
* Maintain client trust accounts, ensuring compliance with legal and financial regulations.
* Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices.
* Assist attorneys with scheduling, case management, and client communication.
* Support the firm's medical billing process and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
* Handle sensitive client and case information with discretion and professionalism.
* Coordinate with medical providers, clients, and vendors to ensure smooth case progress.
* Assist with general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
Background Requirements :
* Candidates should have prior experience in Plaintiff's Workers' Compensation and Personal Injury law.(Preferred)
* Candidates should have a background in medical terminology and processes related to Workers' Compensation and Personal Injury cases. (Highly Preferred)
* Knowledge and experience with client trust account management and accounts payable.
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal software programs.
Preferred Skills:
* Medical billing and coding knowledge is a plus .
* Experience with case management software specific to Workers' Compensation and Personal Injury law.
