Job Overview:

Required Certifications and Licenses:

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or currently matriculating.
• Current New Jersey RN license is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required. (American Heart Association Only)
• Completion of all Orientation requirements of Saint Barnabas Medical Center.
• Successful completion of all Orientation Programs.
• Must have a minimum 3 years of periop experience, OR experience perferred
• EPIC experience preferred

Scheduling Requirements:

• Full time Days
• Monday-Friday
• 8am-4pm

Essential Functions: (including but not limited to:)

• Assists OR Manager with the creation of staff schedules as needed,
• Organizes and administers individualized age-specific professional care to patients in the operating room,
• Participates in staff orientation about appropriate documentation,
• Participates in unit performance improvement evaluation initiatives,
• Takes charge as needed
