Pay Rate or Salary Range: $18/hr.

Employment Type: Contract - 12 Months

Schedule: 1st Shift - Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM 3:30 PM (9/80 schedule with every other Friday off)

Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Assembler I to work on-site with our client, a worldwide designer, manufacturer, and integrator of precision control components company. This is an entry-level opportunity offering training and support to ensure successful product assembly in a regulated production environment. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Read and follow work instructions (Device Instructions - DI).
• Verify work assignment matches training and qualifications.
• Collect required materials from bins and set up workstations.
• Perform service and repair work; inspect own work to ensure quality.
• Accurately document work via data entry or handwritten forms.
• Learn new work instructions as assigned by a supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow safety protocols.
• Assist teammates and support additional projects as needed.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 3 months of relevant manufacturing, assembly, or repair experience.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow technical and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills: add/subtract two-digit numbers, multiply/divide by 10s and 100s.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. repeatedly.
• Strong close-range vision, depth perception, and color vision.
• Basic computer skills (Windows-based systems).
• Able to work in a compliance-oriented and regulated environment.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English (read/write/speak).
