Following the kick-off of an exciting new engagement, Team WPP is thrilled to partner with Audible in their mission of igniting the world’s imagination through premium audio storytelling. To make that possible, Team WPP have been appointed to bring the Audible mission to life through the most dynamic channel of all – social. We will be supporting their social media transformation across ten markets (in the Americas, EU, and APAC) and over 30+ channels (incl. Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and TikTok). Through social, Audible aims to create a larger and more inspired community of fans across the globe.

Sound like you? Looking for an AD who is fluent across all social platforms. Someone who can create from existing imagery, with not only the incredible ability to create static works of art, but also motion design skills as well. Someone who loves coming up with insightful and relevant content ideas with the skills to execute them. Someone who understands the nuances of social media and how to build a brand’s personality across each unique platform. A conceptual Art Director who thinks social first and is plugged into what is going on in culture.
Reporting to the creative leads they will help to concept and create content across social platforms. They will work closely with the wider strategy, account, and creative teams to ensure we are delivering best-in-class social media content, helping to create campaigns that standout for our client. While their executional focus should be on social media, they should be an integrated thinker.
Responsibilities
Coming up with insightful, relevant, and objective driven organic content ideas that build the brand’s presence and personality across social.
Work with a wide range of existing static imagery - from a collection of photography, illustrations, ect - and turn them into content built for specific platforms and audiences
Collaborating with our creative and strategy teams to create and alter video, photography, and streaming stories, etc.
Working knowledge of standard industry software: Photoshop, InDesign, After effects, ect.
A team player who is always open to collaborating to tackle rapid turnaround times, capture trending moments, and deliver and receive feedback, all while keeping a positive and proactive attitude towards content creation.
Skills and Experience Required:
Minimum 3 years of experience with a focus on social content
Experience art directing/designing branded content for social campaigns.
Proficiency with design and layout principles, typesetting, vector artwork, ect.
Work closely with copywriters in the creation and execution of both static and motion content.
Shows incredible passion and experience in creating content across social media platforms.
A Designer who understands how to utilize the latest platform innovations with a clear opinion on how social fits into the wider consumer experience and touch points.
Uses and creates on social media out of work.
Work alongside Social Media Manager and Strategist to implement a direction for social video and graphic treatments.
Benchmark against key competitors and inspiring campaigns.

The pay range for this role is $78,000-$83,000 . Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local cost of labor. Salary is subject to change based on factors such as geographic location and cost of living in location of hire.
