Job Description

Advanced Professional Security is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, employees, and assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to maintaining a secure environment and providing exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect security breaches.
• Respond to alarms and emergency situations promptly and effectively.
• Enforce company policies and security procedures to maintain a safe environment.
• Prepare detailed incident reports and logs of daily activities.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.
• Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
• Provide exceptional customer service to employees and visitors.

Qualifications:

• Valid state-issued guard card. 
• Security guard training certification is preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in criminal justice or related field preferred.
• Prior security or law enforcement experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Physically fit and capable of performing security duties.
