Job Description

We are looking for a German-speaking Accountant, bilingual (German & English) to manage and develop accounting and tax support services for German companies setting up in North America.

The ideal candidate is an experienced accountant with business development mindset, able to support overseas companies in North America to optimize and accelerate their business growth: incorporation, payroll, finance and accounting, tax advisory, and legal compliance.

The position is based inNew York City .

V.I.E Status only.

MISSIONS

• Liaison with our teams and clients based abroad with a focus with the DACH region: Strong relationship, advice, and best practices to operate in the US,

• Management of the planning, A/P-A/R, Bank reconciliation, payroll, payments…
• Annual Final statements for all the clients, finalize P&L and BS. Prepare the annual budget/forecast
• Monthly and annual tax & statutory compliance
• Review before sending to the client all the reportings (P&L, and budget) and advice the clients.
• Communicate and maintain trusting relationships with shareholders, business partners and authorities

PROFILE

• 2-3 years’ experience in a major accounting firm

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Public Accountants, Administration, or any other related field from an accredited institution.
• English & German languages are essentials for the position
• Prior experience in North America or abroad would be a Plus
• Natural ability to multi task , proactive, logical and analytical thinking, sense of responsibility
• Sound commercial understanding, strong communication and leadership skills
• Entrepreneurial spirit, pleasant personality, passionate for international environment
