Casting Call: Realistic Acting Roles for Live Emergency Training Simulation
Location: Fairfax, VA (Fair Oaks Mall area).
Date: Tuesday, October 14th, 2025.
Pay: $25-$35/hour.
Duration: 5-10 hours (approx.).
Type: One-day, non-union project (not filmed for commercial distribution).
About the Opportunity:
Capital Emergency Response Training ( CERT LLC ) is a nationally recognized EMS education company based in Fairfax, Virginia. We provide hands-on, scenario-based training for hundreds of Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) students each year, emphasizing realism, leadership, and high-stress decision-making.
We’re seeking non-union actors - especially acting students and early-career performers - to take part in a live emergency simulation event used for EMT education and testing. This is not a film or theatrical production - it’s an immersive, real-world scenario where you will perform as victims, bystanders, and patients during complex emergency drills.
Event Overview:
You’ll participate in two immersive training experiences:
Scenes will range from light acting and basic patient interaction to intense, emotionally charged situations , including panic, distress, or physical trauma portrayals. Some actors will be asked to cry, yell, or perform in physically demanding roles (e.g., crawling, lying on the ground, or being “treated” by EMTs).
This is a highly professional, safety-controlled environment. You’ll be briefed before each scene, provided direction, and supported by instructors throughout.
