Job Description
We're looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join a dynamic team. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the company's financial health by performing essential accounting tasks in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
Record financial transactions by entering relevant account details.
Summarize current financial status by gathering information and preparing reports such as balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and related footnotes.
Verify the accuracy of financial transactions by auditing documents.
Ensure accounting controls are maintained by recommending and preparing policies and procedures.
Reconcile discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account data.
Establish and maintain effective relationships with remote team members and external accountants.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (Required).
At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar accounting role.
Proficiency with Peachtree (Required).
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management abilities.
CPA certification (Preferred).
