Position Summary: Assist in maintaining the general accounting system for the Plan and its subsidiaries in areas of complexity such as maintaining cash, payroll, disbursements, budgets, and general ledger records.
This position is fully remote. Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities/Females/Disabled/Veterans Qualifications: Required: - High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Two (2) years college level accounting courses.
Preferred: - Associate Degree in accounting, finance or related field.
- One (1) year experience in an accounting or financial support role and proven knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices and procedures.
- Two (2) years’ experience and knowledge of HMO, PPO, TPA, PHO and Managed Care functions.
