Job Description

BASIC FUNCTION:   This individual is a member of the Assembly team.  A summary of responsibilities will be training of manpower, utilization of materials and equipment to ensure that products are manufactured with the highest regard for safety and quality in a JIT manufacturing environment. 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Producing and adhering to daily, weekly, monthly goals.
  • Training and education of all staff and employees in areas of safety, quality, productivity, cost and delivery
  • Providing leadership and guidance for the above
  • Support/promote all DNUS policies and programs as well as follow-ups
  • Reporting department achievements, targets and new projects as requested by upper management
  • You are responsible for contributing to the achievement of the Quality Objectives.
  • Adhering to and improving on goals
  • Safety throughout department
  • Enforcing DNUS production /quality procedure manual
  • Improving department in areas or safety, quality, productivity, morale, cost and delivery
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
  • Associate Degree
