Ever dreamed on being in a touring band? Now is your chance! The 2025 MJM7 summer missionary program will take place from June 6-July 30, 2025. MJM7 is a Catholic worship band who tours the United States ministering through concert events. Using vibrant lights, powerful music, faith sharing, and an invitation to prayer we invite others into a deeper relationship with Christ. Missionaries will begin in Effingham, IL for 9 days of training. This week is both spiritual and practical. Learn what it means to live in community, grow your own faith, and build a concert experience that inspires others. This intense week is filled with prayer time, rehearsal, production skills, and insights from national ministry presenters. We will examine, nurture, and combine talents of the group into a cohesive, unique band. Then the group will embark on a 6 week tour across the Eastern United States. While on tour, we will typically play 2 concerts per week and have time for formation, prayer, service work, & sightseeing. Anyone 18 or older who has graduated high school and can complete safe environment training and a background check is eligible. Musical and non-musical roles are available. We will work to cultivate your God-given gifts and talents. Relevant experience includes: music, theater, ministry leader, public speaking, graphic design, administration, sound engineer, prayer leader, small group leader, photography, etc. Mette Family Ministries will provide modest food and lodging for the duration of the internship. All equipment and travel to ministry sites will be provided. Applicants are responsible for their own travel to Effingham, IL or nearby airport at the beginning and end of internship, personal toiletries, and any personal sight-seeing expenses.
